No, you're right, we do rock.

And Yankees will still win the series.

Agreement on both points.

The twins could lose by 100 runs tonight, they hit lefty pitching so poorly. Also, Santana probably won't pitch again in the series - let's hear it for Rick Reed! yay!

Today's updates:

"Boston Playoff Victory" is STILL an Oxymoron.

Florida defeats San Francisco. Series tied 1-1
Atlanta defeats Chicago. Series tied 1-1
Oakland defeats Boston in 12. Oakland leads series 1-0

Not playing: Minnesota at New York. Minnesota leads Series 1-0

I hope the cubs don't win the series but with Prior going in game 3, they should be up 2-1.

What is up with BK Kim in the playoffs? He's good in the regular season but the playoffs is a different story

The Playoffs are a completely different animal then the regular season. The spotlight is directly on you. You are often the only game being played at that time, have national media coverage (for some teams, not always true during regular season), and there is pressure for you to win. A lot of players, especially in their first playoff appearances, do extremely different. Some do awesome, some need to get used to it.

Pedrito Mondesi

None of my teams are playing in postseason, but I was watching Boston and Oakland, and it wasn't a good Pedro Martinez performance. I mean, if Mike Hampton has more K's than you, something isn't necessarily right.

All the commentators were saying that Pete needed to go into the 8th or 9th inning, because Boston's bullie just can't handle it, and I think their point was well taken last night.'

I agree - he was throwing at about 89 all night, and the breaking ball just didn't have any snap to it.

Is he hurt again? Or just worn out?

Ugh - it was ugly. Horrific display

I hadn't heard anything about Petie being hurt. Maybe he was gassed. But that bully is something else.

Maybe, but Pedro will bounce back. This may be his only chance to get to the world series.
