Last but certainly not least-Bad Charism AKA Bad Chairs-From Ocean Springs, MS
I know the Bad Charism band members-we were all in school together! Only in passing, though. My social circle was none.
Anyway, I have to add Every Little Thing-cute Japanese girl band that actually has an amount of talent.

They're actually starting to get kind of big; they have fans all over the US and tons all over Wisconsin. I went to Summerfest this summer and counted three kids in IV4K shirts. They're really Reel Big Fish-esque, a little bit like Less Than Jake. They were travelling with Warped Tour for a while this summer.

I saw them live at a concert SigEp threw last year...they're really good and they were especially good considering the rest of the concert was death metal.
I really like Lucky Boy's Confusion (and I know some others on here do too). They're a little more mainstream than most of the other bands listed, but I think it might be a Midwest thing...
And fine, Blaine, the Gufs.
I'll probably get mauled for this, but I've seen Face to Face live and did not enjoy them AT ALL.

I saw Eisley last night at a show in DC...you may have heard of them because MTV News did a little feature on them. Anyway, they're pretty decent. It's a little wussier than what I normally listen to, but they're definitely worth checking out.
Also if you like hardcore check out Every Time I Die. They're DA BOMB.

The Low Life. They are big in the DC, MD and VA area. They have played with OAR and are touring some colleges now. They are really good.

Hmmm....don't know if I posted this one here before, but RUTH RUTH!!! To my knowledge, they only had one CD, and one video on MTV (Uninvited). They rock my world! "I Killed Meg the Prom Queen" is my fav. Around 96-97, they were on tour with Everclear.

It's Juliana Theory. They're from the Pittsburgh area, I do believe. I had a class with a girl who was friends with them.
I saw Thursday and they called us mother f'ers. Mother F you, Thursday. Their new album is too preachy anyway.

Before they broke up the Dismemberment Plan would use our house as their place when they were in town. One of our sisters is from DC and befriended them. There were a lot of local articles about the D-Plan sleeping in a sorority house. They were nice guys.

I am an idiot, I meant to quote this post not the last one. Josh writes ALL of his own songs...no co-writers at all!! Great to see that people are embracing his music...finally!

LOL, sorry I got the schools mixed up...
I swear I saw a 60 sec commercial with his song on it and bought his CD and I haven't regretted since. I listened to it over and over again on my trip here to Korea

Yeah the CD is good...the next single os going to be "Everybody wants you" He had a hard time deciding which one to make the next single. He told me last weekend that he is going to re-record it for radio...and it's going to be in some movie with Julia Stiles. He has a lot of good songs too that are unreleased. He's a talented guy.
