Ya'll, I am not stupid enough to not know that there are certain situations where silver/gold had to be used. Seriously, who typically bites through their teeth and breaks their jaws on a normal, day to day basis? I don't know too many people that say "Oh, what the heck! Let's bite through our teeth and break our jaw today!" Yes, it happens but it's not a normal, every day occurence.
I also know that cement/porcelain wasn't in wide usage back when our parents were getting fillings. But, they could get porcelain/cement fillings from here on out or get them capped
It's just these people that ghettotize their mouths with these silver/gold fillings for the heck of it. We all know who these people are!
BTW, I have always been given a choice no matter where I have gone to the dentist and I have seen quite a few dentists in my lifetime. 5 regular dentists, 1 oral surgeon, and 2 orthodontists to be exact. Let's just say I know teeth well by association.

Um, ok I always wear high heels with jeans. This is in style.
A person should not be allowed to wear more than one designer signature article of clothing. (Burberry, Coach C's, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci) More than one is just too much in my opinion.
furry things annoy me.
People who wear Keds or Bucks...I saw this today--I didn't even know they still sold those.
Overweight people wearing tight/see-through/exposing clothing. Please wear things that are your size.
ALSO:
Just because you have a perfect body doesn't mean you should dress like a 2-dollar whore...leave a little SOMETHING to the imagination please.
I also have it when people think that their makeup has to perfectly match their outfit. It doesn't. It can compliment...but doesn't have to match. You are trying too hard.
I am also not a big fan of only using white eyeliner...this does nothing for your eyes..it draws more attention to your eyeliner rather than drawing attention to your eyes.
Dark lipliner with nothing else. Eww.

i dont even think they had cement/porcelain fillings back in our parents day. Im only 18, but when I was 10 my sealing fell out of one of my back teeth (you know, that white stuff they used to put on the top of your teeth to seal them?) so i had this huge hole in my tooth, and then the root started to die. So, they had to do a root canal, and filled it, and put a silver cap on it because they didnt have a choice. You cant really see it at all unless im being goofy and smile really big...but then, about two years later, i fell at the skating rink during a race and hit my front teeth on the floor(ouch)..and one turned black because the root was dying again from how hard i hit it...and they were going to put a gold cap on it ....but then they said that we could try this new porcelain filling to see if it would whiten it.....
so excuse my "bling bling"....cause i didnt have a choice.
is ghettotize a word? or can i just join in with everyone else and do or ?

stilhetto boots with those stupid cargo pants (you know the style J.Lo popularized). Ladies, you look ridiculous.
Fatigues...unless you are actually in the army, you don't need to wear these.
Side ponytails...that 80's were a bad decade...why must people insist on bring it back?
(80's style is soooooooo cool...I think I'll wear hot pink legwarmers to work tomorrow )

LOL! I have a picture of Hubby and me with this style! Um yes, it WAS taken in the 80's- at my class reunion!
On the teeth...Amalgam fillings are STILL offered. If your dentist tries to put amalgam in your mouth TODAY, why not try a second opinion? Prefaced by-*In the opinion of many dentists today* amalgam fillings are notorious for fracturing teeth, which leads to either/or Crown and Root Canal. Insurance won't cover them on the back teeth, but one day they will. If you have a CHOICE, go for the composite bonding today, you will be much happier tomorrow-even if it costs a little more. BUT, make sure he's a GOOD dentist because lousy margins can lead to decay!
Save us all from those who request a gold crown on their front teeth...or a DIAMOND stuck in the middle!

Here's my view on comeback fashions - women can wear any fashion ONCE. So KR, JAM, MrsMccartney, you ladies are done with the 80s look. Those of us who were born in the 80s or later are allowed to rock it now, but won't be when it comes back again.

Good advice, GP. I had the unfortunate experience of wearing 80s fashion the first time around and I am not about to do it again.

I am a teacher and I see so many fashion felonies every day on my fellow coworkers. Some of them include"
-toes hanging over your sandals
-Keds shoes with the coiled up shoe laces (yes on an adult)
-white skirt with a black thong underneath it and no slip - niiiiice!!
-black pants with brown belt and shoes
-orangy bleached out hair
-sizes way too small b/c they don't want to admit that their ass has gotten bigger
-hideous fluffy hair with extensions added in (I know that this is Texas but come on!!)
-cartoon characters on any clothing, pooh, mickey, etc
Someone call What Not To Wear and have them just come to our school!! Several could benefit from it!!
Here are a few other things that I can't tolerate:
-bows on anyone over the age of 10
-socks with sandals - it is so damn hot here, why would you want to wear socks with your sandals?
-slouchy boots from the 80s, give them to Goodwill!!
I'm sure that I have many other opinions, when I think of them, I will no doubt post them.

Another one...
really short women wearing tapered jeans and chunky high heeled boots.
This looks ridiculous on anyone, but if you're really short, you look even worse. The boots don't make you look taller, in fact I think they look like walking stumps.

For some reason, I keep seeing guys wearing brown shoes or boots with black pants, and it annoys the crap out of me.
I'm with the anti-80's fashion comback people. The 80's were just not an attractive decade; why are we bringing these ugly-azz styles back? Next thing you know, everyone will be wearing blue eyeshadow, fuscia lipstick, huge fluorescent t-shirts tied at the hip over leggings, and big poufy hair again. Who wants that? *shudders at the thought*
My friend and I spent about 1/2 an hour in a movie theater lobby in NJ this weekend making fun of all of the teenyboppers in their 80's throwback fashions. The worst offender was this rather chunky girl in a white(!) pleated miniskirt (the kind that's tight around the waist and has a couple of pleated tiers) with a teeny tiny shirt that showed off her oh-so-attractive stomach rolls.

Ok, how do these larger girls get into these tiny clothes??
I'm a bigger girl myself and I can't imagine trying to squeeze into something that doesn't fit. Aren't the uncomfortable. Aren't these pants and skirts too tight? Why doesn't it cut off their circulation?
