Is it just me, or are the Heroes and Villains switching places?

No kidding! Of course, that's probably exactly what the producers had in mind.
I think they made a big move too fast last night. It's just going to show the other team just exactly how divided they are.

Yeah, I think Cirie was definitely a threat, and it was smart of them to want to eliminate that threat. But, I'm not sure this was the best time for JT to switch. Now, he's on the outs with Colby and Tom, outnumbered by Amanda, Candace, James and Rupert. Cirie was definitely blindsided last night. As were the 4 who didn't vote for her.
I really like Cirie; she's a good player. I'm glad she's the one who went home, though. I say this only because her strategy was to keep the players she could beat, voting off the stronger ones first. That strategy, while good for her game play, always resulted in some of my favorite players going home.

Cirie isn't just a big threat strategically, she's useless in challenges too. I couldn't stand her on her first season and I still can't stand her. She tries to boss everybody around, gets on a high horse and tries to direct everybody even though she has no real skills that are helpful to the tribe.
I'm so glad Colby didn't go yet. He is my all time favorite Survivor ever. If they could actually win some challenges, they could wait it out til the merge and not have to get rid of too many more people.

Am I the only person confused with the challenges? Some episodes, it has both a rewards and immunity challenge, some it has only a combined challenge. The first time I understand because they had a medical emergency on their hands, but i can't see why the second time.
Also Russel better hope he finds the HII before the next tribal council, or his ass is gone.

I'm not so sure about this. The previews for next week show Candace talking about wanting to align with JT. So everything could completely turn around.
And after last season, I won't count anyone out because of numbers!

Thank you! I don't know why everyone likes her. I feel like she just enjoys telling people what to do, and if you disagree with her, even if it's about what to cook for dinner, you're on her chopping block. And of course, she contributes nothing physically.

He's playing worse this season than he was last, and he has the advantage... no one knows how he played!
"Going for a walk" on the same day that a clue to an immunity has been read to the entire tribe (who have all decided the person who tries to get it is going home) is incredibly stupid. If I were him, I would have waited at least until after the immunity challenge. If they won (which they did!) there would be no reason to go looking for it then. And even if they lost, there was a good chance that Russell wouldn't be the one who was headed home last night, anyway.
I do find it funny that last season, everyone (except Betsy) trusted Russell from day 1. This season, people seem to be a lot more weary of him. But again, I do find that his gameplay (and overall attitude and behavior) are completely different than last season.

Yeah, it was a risky move on JT's part, but it could pay off.
I was still really sorry to see it work, though. Unlike you (and AGDee), Cirie is one of my all-time favorites.

I would have liked to see her make it to the merge and get something going with Amanda and Parverti again. It would seem unlikely that the same alliance would work again, but as good as those three were together (masterful use of the HII, as well as convincing someone to just flat-out hand over an idol), it could have worked again.

You know...I was all jazzed for this season, but so far, it's kinda MEH.
The heroes are really disappointing me - both in the fact that they can't win challenges, and they're annoying to watch back at camp. Amanda was one of my favorites, but she looked like a psycho crying over whether James would come back. Seriously, it was like she just found out her mom had died. Does anyone know if she's still dating Ozzy? I'm assuming not, since that probably would have been brought up already...

Glad I'm not the only person who thought the reward was lame. It was funny seeing Jeff get mad when none of the heroes ate the chocolate he gave them.
Also I'm glad they finally voted out tom. He was annoying me.

I was thinking the Heroes were stupid for not eating the chocolate. That would be a quick energy boost between the sugar buzz and the caffeine buzz from it. Besides, I'm a chocoholic.

I had that same thought. Just another strike against the heroes.
I'm a big chocolate fan myself, but if I were in the survivors' shoes, I would've wanted something a lot more substantial.

Co-sign completely. Along with what you've said, the sense of strategy

James' attitude is off-putting, but so is (well, was) Tom's. Colby's not doing much better.
At least the crazy-fest that is Russell and Coach is entertaining.

My mom compared Russell to Charles Manson. I started to crack up.

I'm re-watching now because I wasn't focused much on Thursday.
