Why do I feel like they confused "villain" with "extremely annoying" in some cases?

Premiere is Thursday, February 11.

Same here. I don't remember Sandra being particularly villainous, either.

No Johny Fairplay? I forget his actual name, but the guy from Pearl Islands.

After he quit the last All Stars one, they were ticked off at him. He'll never be on Survivor again!

I didn't know he quit an all stars one.

I seem to remember that he pretty much asked his tribe to vote him off because he was miserable. Had a new girlfriend he was missing or something?

I don't think Sandra was that villanous but I seem to recall in the game that she said something along the lines of she would swear to anyone's face, and would cross her fingers behind her back and would vote out anyone, pretty much, as long as it wasn't her.

I don't really remember much about Danielle.

I wish Yao Man was back for a 3rd time. He was on the Fans vs. Favorites and he was awesome. He was also the first one to make a fake Immunity Idol, although no one got around to looking for it.

How appropriate that Parvati's surname is "Shallow" - LOL

I cannot stand Randy - he is too DUMB to be a villain. He was just annoying.

I don't remember all of these people, but I probably will once I see them. I'm questioning why no one from the Africa cast was chosen - I seem to recall detesting at least half of the cast that season! Same goes for Amazon.

At this point, I think the Heroes have an advantage with a natural alliance (James, Amanda, Cirie - I think she's smart enough to forgive Amanda for last time) - and last season proved how far a tight alliance (even if it is small) can get you. J.T. seems like he's smart enough to jump on that bandwagon as well - and the small alliance work well for him, too.

:( No James. He will always be my favorite Survivor.

I guess I was expecting a different cast. I think this one is a bit disappointing.

I hope he's smart enough to jump on. If I had to pick the player with the biggest target on their back, I'd pick JT. He's a favorite, though, so I hope I'm wrong. But I totally agree: the three Micronesia Heroes + JT = one heckuvan alliance.

I mentioned it at the end of the Samoa thread, but Russell has a HUGE advantage - he's the only one that no one will have heard of, and no one knows his game. He's on the villains team, so I'm sure that will give people a clue. His major danger is that people might vote him out because they know nothing about him.

I also think it would be funny if Amanda made the Final 2/3 again. At least this time she can say "Hey - I made it to the Finals THREE times, what more do you want?" as a jury argument.

Good point, but I'm guessing he didn't make it too far in H vs V. Otherwise, he might not have been quite so petulent about losing to Natalie.

Between Coach and Russell..who was the craziest villain? I say Coach.

See, I don't even think Coach was a villain; he's one of the ones I was thinking about when I wondered if they'd confused "villain" with "extrement annoying."

Coach was a delusional nutjob, but that didn't make him a villain in my book.
