I don't consider it weird, but Mannish Water ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mannish_water). I'd eat it every day if I could. It's delicious, and I am not one to eat internal organs. You pronounce it like this: Mannish Wah-ta.
Also, Jack Fruit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_fruit GAG!!!!!!!!!!

Balut: "Popularly believed to be an aphrodisiac..."
I'm sorry, but no part of that would make me think of anything in the sexual realm.

I think the "It'll make women Looooooooove you" or "it'll make you amaaaaazing in bed" claim is tied to a lot of foods that no one in their right mind would eat otherwise.
Marketing.

Plain white bread. So boring it should be a capital offense to eat it.

I had it prepared in an alleged Native American way, it was still pretty bitter.

Deep fried things often just taste the same, probably from the oil.
Less than two weeks I'll be feasting on buffalo and reindeer, I can't wait.

I learned the hard way that acorns straight from the tree are awful and hard to open. But I did have them in a large thing of mixed nuts that my aunt got and sent to my family. They were delicious. I don't know what changed because these acorns were still in the shell.

There is nothing I love more than a PB&J on soft white bread, or a hot leftover meatloaf sammie on soft white bread.
I don't discriminate though, I love ALL forms of loaved carbs... pumpernickle, rye, whole wheat, any kind of roll, bun, or slice!

I've been avoiding this thread because I thought there would be REALLY disgusting "foods" listed. There was always the "you may grow up to be an ambassador or a missionary, so at least try to like it" speech at our house when we served something different.
But based on what all you like or don't like:
LOVE: Peaches (obscenely so!), beets, PB&J on white bread, lima beans
HATE: Spam (truly a test of the above theory!), any potted meat, chitlins, flan, squid, caviar, liver, sushi (better known as pretty bait)
I don't think I could eat Snow Bambi (reindeer) if I knew what it was.
This will either gross you out or make you epicurious: Swiss Peaches and Noodles. Warning - it's terribly fattening, but good! It's a plate with noodles on the bottom, then bread cubes fried in butter (no spices), then canned peaches with the syrup. My g-g-grandfather on the one side was Swiss.
My guy's mother recently made a potted ham (he had told her that I like ham) and I about died. I was never so happy to use paper napkins, so that I could drop some in my lap and hide it in my purse. Ugh, that stuff is nasty! This isn't the canned ham, the one that's ham cut into the shape of a can, it was with the mystery pieces (affectionately known as snout) & gelatin holding together the hunks of real but over spiced ham. I simply can't wait to cook for his family!

Natto (Japanese)
Vegemite (Australian)
This is coming from someone who happily ate everything else served to me in rural Japan without a moment's thought. I love raw squid, ate a plate of duck tongues, etc. I had to go a very long way to find foods I couldn't get down. Trust me. If you aren't raised on natto or Vegemite...you will not like them. It can't be done.

I don't find escargot, sushi or calamari exotic or weird at all.
The most exotic thing i've had is tripe, which I didn't care for at all. It has a texture like fat and doesn't really have a taste at all.

The sad part is, there are SO many deer in our neighborhood (displaced by McMansions) that I went to a council meeting, and asked to have them either relocated to the forests or "prepared" for those people who have to eat game.
