I like having the Sugar Free Nestle Quick in skim milk as an evening snack -- counts as a dairy too.

I am craving chocolate, so I will be checking out that cookie dough tomorrow....ya think eating it raw will take off any points??

I hope it reduces the point value! That's exactly how I ate my two cookies. Who wants to wait 7 minutes for them to cook? They are really good. It's made with splenda, but my sugar loving husband couldn't even tell until I told him.

P.S. If you like peanut butter, you can get the reduced fat version from Wal-Mart that is only 2 pts. per tablespoon. It's really good.
(I take my pointsfinder in to the grocery store every time. My husband almost had a heart attack when he calculated some of his favorite meals.)

Nut-
It's hard to follw a big loss with a big loss-- losing 4.5 pounds is almost twice what is reccommended, as I am sure you know. Think of it as your body really losing the fat and not any water weight -- the fact that you sustained it means your loss is real!

Another tip for those chocolate cravers....Fat Free sugar free chocolate pudding with some fat free cool whip. That is my dessert every night. Also found that if I let my cravings get too out of control I would go crazy trying to full fill them. So I bought some hershey kisses and put them in a hard to reach place and eat one when I felt the need. All in moderation. I used to hate it when people told me that but I believe it now!!

Good luck everyone..I weigh on Wednesday.

Snaps to you Nut!

I'm doing the plan on my own and I weigh in every Monday morning at my home scale. I'm starting to think maybe I should switch my weigh in days to Friday mornings. I'm SO good all week at staying on, and then the weekends are the days I fudge a bit (though I guess it's sort of like using my Flex Points, I wouldn't know though because I've not been to a meeting since they started that). Regardless, if I've strayed a bit on Sat or Sun I really see it on Mon. I think having the week to get back on track and seeing a better loss on Fri would be better to my psyche!!! Hey, I'm down to the last 8 pounds or so and I can use all the help I can get!

ALSO, for chocolate fixes, they have those new 100 calorie packs from Nabisco. They have an Oreo version that is SUPER choclatey and crunchy, too. 2 pts. for the bag. I wouldn't reccomend the Chips Ahoy - disappointing.

Friday's Weigh In Results

I lost a grand total of.....

5.2 LBS!!!!

Great job Nut!!! I also enjoy the .10

I bought the one point bars today (peanut butter fudge or something) and I love em. I had one earlier and it was just the sweetness my body was craving.

I've been back at Curves 3 weeks now and am so happy that I went back. You really don't get bored at Curves and may even make some new friends. The best thing to do though to counteract any boredom you may feel is to go with someone. It is really helping that I have two of my best friends and my mom going to Curves now - we all keep each other honest.

Weight Watchers is just down the street from Curves so I signed up for WW today. This is going to sound crazy but I'm not sure if I will stictly follow the program right now - not quite that motivated yet. However I do plan to follow it during the week for breakfasts and lunches. At least it will be a start and I know I'll go every Saturday as that is one of my Curves workout days.

Good luck to everyone and congratulations on the weight loss that everyone has already experienced.

Carolyn

I did Curves for awhile and just drifted because there isn't one near my house. IF they opened up one closer to me I would so go back. I'm thinking of trying the new Weight Watchers without hte points, has anyone tried it?

The problem with the core system (no points) is that you have to stop eating just before you are full. So it requires you listening to your body's signals. Well, if I knew how to listen to my body's signals to stop, I wouldn't be at WW in the first place.

Core is really a low carb diet in disguise. Seriously. I was looking at it, and the whole while thinking it was very famliar. It was, because it is pretty much the 2nd and 3rd phases of the South Beach Diet.

I don't know if I'd be able to deal with the point system, I'm always om the run/in school surronded with nothing but fastfoods

Buttonz - Give yourself a few weeks and you will know the points value for all your favorite foods. It becomes second nature!
