The "ETA" part: The frame of reference provides the context. Meaning, he's offending the sensibilities of the "hard working," "hard praying," "right to bear arms defending" or whatever else people think characterizes the rural voters that he's talking about. That is interpreted as not only condescending but even "anti-American" to an extent. But removing the emotion from it all, even many rural voters can understand where he's coming from.

The reality is that some people found it condescending. Okay.
That doesn't remove the truthfulness of what he and others have said regarding this topic. I certainly hope he does not apologize for his well-delivered and accurate comments.

On the Michael Baisden show this afternoon they were talking about Philadelphia voters and the "bitterness" that some voters feel in PA and across the country. Gas prices, job insecurity, etc.
They said that Peppermint Patty is closing down a plant and this is a huge blow to PA because this is a staple. The jobs are being sent to Mexico which prompted them to question what's up with NAFTA.
I probably didn't explain what's going on with Hershey's Peppermint Patty that well so http://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/i..._555510_7.html

The "You guys are stupid if you don't realize what he meant, and that it was all unquestionably accurate" posts are ironic. They reek of arrogance, and such statements have most frequently been made by unabashed liberals.
This type of attitude is what created this problem in the first place.

Since it's already out there.....yeah Daemon, sorry man, I actually was gonna call you out for being an ass, but I decided against it. I really didn't understand why you were being a dick to SECDom for no reason. Looked to me like he was engaging in a pretty normal discussion about the topic of the thread.
DST, I don't know what the fuck your problem is, but I didn't deserve to be called those names at all. I wasn't being cocky, nor a chicken shit.
