I wore mine yesterday! and no one noticed I didn't really see anyone else wearing their badges either...but I only had 1 class that day in the morning and then in the evening we had a Panhellenic Sisterhood to make easter baskets for Akron Children's Hospital...and that's where I saw PHCs wearing their badges =]

I wore mine yesterday as well. I normally don't wear jewelry so I did get a lot of "What's that on your sweater?" questions from my students. Of course, I happily took the opportunity to explain to them the benefits of going Greek!

Even better, we are celebrating collegiate/Greek pride all this week. I (along with other teachers) contributed some items (pledge paddle, pictures, etc.) for a display in the main hallway at school. We also are encouraged to wear our Greek gear on Friday to show our spirit!

The NPC website notes that the 2009 Badge Day will be March 2, 2009. Is Badge Day always the first Monday in March? Is there a significance to this date/time of year or just happens to be a date/time of year that was selected?

The only other women I saw wearing them were Thetas. However it is still winter so many women possibly had them on and their coats were covering it to stay warm. Interestingly enough a fraternity member saw my badge (he knows I am an Alpha Gam alumna) and commented that he liked the fact I still wore my badge when appropriate, and he plans to wear his as an alumnus because so many people stop once the chapter isn't forcing them to.

I was not planning on wearing my badge today as I was on vacation, but I was visiting friends at my old school. Thankfully, I had brought my badge along for a chapter visit, so I wore it to some events on campus I had to attend. Most of the NPC women were wearing theirs.
