We WERE going to have a party with our friends. I say WERE because they cancelled on us about an hour ago.

So now, I don't know what we're going to do. I don't care about the teams playing, so I may just study. (so lame!)

We're throwing a party at a friend's house who has a 61" HD TV, Barbecue, Hot Wings, Spinach/Artichoke Dip, chips, Beer.

I'm not doing anything. I am going to watch to see the commercials. I don't even know who is playing......LOL.

If someone invites me to a party I may go just to have something to do, but I hear it is kinda boring to watch sports with me.

what are you serving?
1. buffalo wings, teriyaki wings, and bbq wings (boneless for the little man)
2. chips and salsa from Chili's
3. pizza
4. chicken taquitos
5. lil smokies in my spicy bbq-bourbon sauce

We start cooking around 11 and snack on this all day. Yes, we have lots of leftovers.


Any special requirements? No whining. No cheering for the Pats. No doing anything active.


Betting any money? Yes. I join in with my husband's poker buddies. I have won the pool three out of four times. I like taking their money.


Who do you think will win? I HOPE my Ole Miss boy, Eli, rocks it out and wins it with the Giants. As long as I have a Manning in the Super Bowl, I am happy. Plus, I don't like Brady for leaving his preggo gf for Gisele. Yes, it's a girly answer. Gotta problem with it?

Well, I usually do an Opening Day event at my house and fire up the grill and so on...but this year since one of my buddies cancelled, I volunteered to do the Super Bowl too.

But it will be kind of small because I don't feel like cooking a lot.

Menu: Beef BBQ ribs...one of my other friends will fix Pork BBQ ribs for the grill.

4 large pizzas

Crabcakes

Veggie tray chips and dips

And of course plenty to drink (non alcoholic this time...I tend to keep a dry
house...hehehe)

I let my friends know to be there early if they want to eat and if they are late, they are out and I won't fix anymore...hehehe

Main requirement...wear a jersey (actually at work now with my Randy Moss jersey on now...hahaha!) and support your team.

And yes...we are doing door prizes...I am auctioning off a jersey and a NFL hat....!
