Yes, I joined Kappa Sigma and have loved every single minute of it. In the end, my friend who pledged Brad dropped....along with nine of his pledge brothers. He came back to us the next semester and pledged with two of his pledge brothers from Brad.
HELL YEAH! AEKDB BROTHER!

Why on earth did I not think of Kappa Sig? They were our (Pi Phi's) next door neighbors during my pledge year. Plus I'm friends with quite a few of those guys (especially the many of you involved with SG). It honestly slipped my mind that Sigma Nu took back their house and Kappa Sig had the "Alamo" this year. Great group of guys, you certainly should be proud of the reputation ya'll have built in the last few years.

Your new house is going to be stunning, I know ya'll must be excited. I hope you're living there?

Congrats on Kappa Sig!!! My fiance (who I'm marrying in 2 weeks ) is a Kappa Sig alum from UCF.

I've heard that Kappa Sig at UF has been doing really well over the past few years. A friend of mine from HS was apart of the first pledge class when Kappa Sig recolonized back in 2000.

Congrats!! I didn't think about Kappa Sigma either even though I know they are a well known fraternity. I guess I just didn't think of them being as southern as KA. I liked your story.

ps. UFpiphi: I went looking for your house last Monday since it was the only one I had never seen. I love the new color of your house(I saw painting crews so I assume they repainted) . It took me a little while to find, but gorgeous. Probably one of the prettiest (from the outside) at UF.

Aww thank you! You did assume correctly, our house used to be a baby pink color, sort of like Barbie's dream house . We affectionately called it the "Pink Palace". I have to admit though, I really love the yellow, it makes the colonial style stand out more than the pink did.

Since SECdomination pledged Kappa Sigma which is Josh, (congrats by the way), then that leaves Brad as Sigma Chi.

And yes, Tim is KA. But Brad is not SAE.

Brad was not Sig Ep, and Josh is not Sigma Chi.

TSteven, thanks for figuring that out for me

It's been a long time since I had to figure out those types of logic equations - If A=B, and B=C then A=C

1. SECdomination visited five chapters coded as follows.

Brad
Dierks
Garth
Josh
Tim

2. SECdomination reveals that he accepted a bid to Josh. He later names four of the five chapters visited. Leaving one chapter unknown.

Alpha Tau Omega
Kappa Alpha Order
Sigma Alpha Epsilon
Sigma Chi
Unknown chapter

3. SECdomination reveals three of the chapters' code names.

Alpha Tau Omega = Garth
Kappa Alpha Order = Tim
Sigma Alpha Epsilon = Dierks

4. This leaves only Sigma Chi from the reviled chapters and the unknown chapter as Brad and Josh.

Sigma Chi = Brad or Josh
Unknown chapter = Brad or Josh

5. SECdomination reveals that Josh is Kappa Sigma - the unknown chapter.

Alpha Tau Omega = Garth
Kappa Alpha Order = Tim
Kappa Sigma = Josh
Sigma Alpha Epsilon = Dierks

6. Thus the one remaining chapter that was visited (Sigma Chi) should be associated with the one remaining name (Brad).

Alpha Tau Omega = Garth
Kappa Alpha Order = Tim
Kappa Sigma = Josh
Sigma Alpha Epsilon = Dierks
Sigma Chi = Brad

[QUOTE=SECdomination;1486750]
Are there always small improvements being made over the summers? I've seen quite a few landscaping changes and minor structural changes over the last few weeks to the sorority houses.
I assume everyone is trying to keep up with the Tri-Delt house. It looks like it should have it's own zipcode!

There are always improvements- painting, landscaping, new furniture inside, etc.
The Tri-Delt house is stunning! I feel bad for KD and ZTA- their houses are beautiful in their own right but are now in the shadows of Tri-Delt.
