So, are Cleveland's fans as rough as I heard they are? Like throwing stuff (food, etc) and spitting on opposing fans in the stands? Is that true?

This isn't 2003, the Spurs are not the most boring team in the NBA. And if you believe that then you haven't watched any of the Eastern Conference Finals. Tony Parker and Manu(when he's not flopping) are 2 genuinely exciting players to watch.
ETA: Apparently I'm not the only one that disagrees with your "Spurs=Boring" assumption.

f You Like Good Basketball, You Should Like the Spurs
If you want to see a good team play, you watch the Spurs. People who complain otherwise are just trying to find something negative to talk about. How is it that a team is winning, but you don’t like the way they’re winning? To me that seems kind of dumb.
Neither the Lakers with Magic nor the Bulls with Michael looked the same. Anybody who doesn’t like watching Tim Duncan, Tony Parker or Ginobili play might want to seek help. They might need a therapist.
Tim Duncan Boring? Definitely Not
The same goes for those people that say Tim Duncan is boring to watch. Just look at how many championships Tim Duncan has won. That should tell you something. If he wins four or five championships, to say that he is boring is like comparing Da Vinci and Picasso. They were both geniuses with two different styles.

Kitso, sorry, Bowen is one of the league's best defenders (although he is slowing a bit), but I can't think of anyone who would call Manu one of the league's best anythings, unless you're talking floppers. I will give you that Duncan is probably the best power forward of all time, and one of the greats, and that the Spurs have had a great run, though.
Anyone else see that Kobe requested a trade? People are talking about Chicago being a likely destination, but how do you get back equal value for arguably the best player in the NBA?

I totally agree that I'm a bit of a homer, but I will say this. Manu's ability to slash and finish near the basket is something that I think makes him a great player. When he gets the ball off a screen and starts to drive, I know that at LEAST he's going to get the ball up near the hoop and hopefully will finish or draw a foul. In a tough game, when the other team has made a run and you need to answer, thats the kind of performance you need.
But yeah, I am bias. Go Spurs Go.
And the Kobe saga is definitely interesting and seems to change day to day. I honestly can't see any team trading for him, what you would have to give up would be too great. But who knows, maybe Minn. trades the farm to match Kobe and KG? But I'd much rather see him in the East.

San Antonio over Cleveland in 6 games.
...but I really hope I'm wrong because a World Championship party in Cleveland would be off-the-hook.

You are officially uninvited to any of the parties.
This will be a challenging series for Cleveland, but I am confident they will win at least 2 games in the series. Not calling the champion just yet, I need to see a game or 2 but LeBron and Daniel Gibson working together will keep the Cavs in the series.

Call it or leave it 'lone. Trust, it hurt me to not pick Cleveland, because I can see how truly thirsty yall are for a winner, but I gotta be real.

I don't care how many championships Tim Duncan has won. The guy is a walking contradiction. I don't think I know of a bigger superstar in any sport that is as boring to watch as Tim "I like to cry and whine at officials" Duncan. I really wish Joey Crawford would have taken ol' Timmy out back and just beat his ass. As for the rest of them....I don't like Bruce Bowen because.....well, I don't know, I just hate him and his huge head. Manu Ginobili? If you even blow on that pansy Argentinian he'll act like he just had a brain aneurysm while having both legs gut off. Tony Parker.....you are a point guard, remember? I'd be giving him credit if I described him as a poor man's Steve Nash.
As for the Spurs playoff run......I didn't watch any of the Easter Conference Finals because they were.........boring, haha......no, but really......I'm serious. Yeah sure, they won 3-1 and blah blah blah, but Phoenix would have swept them while scoring 120 points a game. Poor Phoenix, what a slap in the face. Will Smith, errr, Robert Horry hip checks Steve Nash into the 10th row....so David Stern suspends about 35 points and 20 rebounds a game from the Suns....all because Amare and Boris went to see if their Canadian sensation wasn't dead. God forbid teammates take care of each other. It wouldn't surprise me if David Stern installs seat-belts on the benches next year.
Oh well though, San Antonio is in the Finals......again.......that means at least four more games of Hollywood quality flopping, crying, whining, and bitching. Personally, I can only hope for a few things: 1.) Daniel Gibson eats up Tony Parker....and then bangs Eva Longoria after it's all said and done with. 2.) Someone from Cleveland actually gives Manu Ginobili something to flop over....maybe a punch to the balls, or a broken face, or maybe a scalping. 3.) That Lebron James drops 40+ on Tim Duncan every night and that one of the officials slaps him in the face the next time he pulls out a rule book from his ass to show how poorly he is being treated on the court. 4.) That Greg Popovich finds something to cure his horrible, ghastly acne scars.

WHAT? I'm not so sure about that. A couple of my friends went to one of the playoff games and, because they were wearing Detroit jerseys, they got a bunch of stuff thrown at them, terrible things said to them, and nacho cheese flung at them. I don't think that is an example of Cleveland fans being the best.
It's one thing to jokingly trash talk the opposing team, but when you throw things at someone - that's going too far.
And this wasn't just a one time thing. This happened last year and a few times during regular season games this year, plus the playoffs this year. Not cool.

Hmm, Didn't know that. Hopefully, no one will get out of hand when San Antonio comes here for game three tomorrow night.
