ASU is Arizona State right? According to Irishpipes recruitment thread, at least three groups did not make quota during formal and they are going to fix that by bringing on another group? Is this one of those places where girls just drop out if they don't get what they want or are all these groups picking up plenty of girls during informal? There weren't a lot of quota additions either, so were girls turning down bids or was quota too high?
I know nothing about this school, but I always worry when I see new groups coming on campus, if existing groups are not reaching quota.

Yes, Arizona State. There were 3 groups who didn't make quota you are correct. It is not going to "fix" that. I will tell you that 2 of the groups have struggled for years on campus and one of the groups was just recently recolonized and has been struggling AND one group just lost their Charter for a hazing incident. What tends to happen is women drop out of recruitment when they get released from the Chapters they wanted and since Greek Life is not that big of a deal at ASU they can have a great college experience without being in a sorority. I don't think quota was to high because they try to place as many women as possible. My guess would be that with RFM a lot of women had already "released" those groups by ranking them low so where quota was set placed the most amount of women still active in recruitment. Some of these Chapters did pick up a lot of women in informal recruitment. They had over 100 women interested in January and all the Chapters that made quota where well over total and unable to participate. With the amount of women we have going through recruitment it was imperative that we add another Chapter to help keep those quota numbers manageable for the Chapters. If you want more detailed information PM me.

Who's been on ASU's campus? Tri Sig (we were trying to remember when they left late 80's early 90's?), Alpha Sigma Alpha, Kappa Delta (this year), Tri Delta, Sigma Kappa and Sigma Delta Tau.

Quota 60 and total 120? Is that just because quota has been growing rapidly (and thus the expansion) or is there a retention issue?

I believe it is quota growing rapidly. Average chapter size after recruitment was 144 well above total. Every Chapter but one was above total after recruitment. I think a bump of 10 on quota is huge in a year. They have projected the numbers to continue to grow over a 5 year period.

Bumping. I met a collegian today who said DZ was selected and that Tri-Sig may also be coming on next. Has anyone heard anything to confirm/refute this?

All I know is that Alpha Phi, Delta Phi Epsilon, Delta Zeta, and Gamma Phi Beta presented. Seeing as we didn't present, we're not coming lol.

Which school? UCF and Arizona State have presentations this week. Good luck to all the groups presenting!

Since Gamma Phi doesn't present until tomorrow, I seriously doubt they have selected anyone.

LOL. Thanks, ladies, for the update with the schedule. I had a feeling it sounded too early for any final decisions to be made.
