and WTF is wrong with you people?? it makes abso-freakin'-lutely NO sense that you want me and the other 7th grade history teacher to do EXACTLY the SAME thing, on the SAME day in the SAME way!!! WHY ARE YOU STIFLING MY PERSONALITY!???

i didn't want to do the business world anymore because i hated micro-management and the unneccessary chain of accountability and because i desired the sense of autonomy in the classroom. but, thanks to my freakin' administration, that's all out the window.

and THIS is why today, i hate people!

That isht was going down here in CMS when I arrived. It was starting to happen in Columbus.

You cannnnnnnnnnOT teach children that way. We had a district wide pacing guide that dictated to all Charlotte Mecklenburg teachers what concepts should be taught on each day. Every day from start to dayum finish. I felt like someone had cut off my arms and legs and just wanted me to be a damn robot.

Y'all keep marching.

Dear God,

Thank you for getting me through the last 2 weeks without pulling my hair out or kicking somebody in the neck. I'm in a suprisingly okay mood considering the numerous things that have gone haywire lately. I know if I keep my faith, things will work themselves out. I'm able to keep my head up thanks to you.

Open ended

Faith is what you make it. When you have little faith you get little results but when you believe and trust then all things can be accomplished. I just wanna say that right now the road may be tough but I have decided to let Jesus control. Be strong and dont let the many devils of the world get to you. Remember who loves unconditionally and is always by yourside.

-im sorry i just had to get that off my chest- Have a nice day

I am so out when this happens here in my district. I am a great teacher and I am all for professional growth, but creativity makes for a great learning climate. I agree 100%, pretty soon all we will need is a locked room and a tv monitor to teach kids. Why don't they just start writing a script like we read when we take standardized tests.

We are so not respected as educators.

To Steve Spurrier, assistant coaches and Gamecock players:
We won. Yay! But WTH happened in the second half? It looked like Lou Holtz never retired. If ya'll are going to play like ya'll did in that half, Georgia's going to kick our azz next week. And Tennessee, Florida, and Aurbun(sp) in the next few weeks. I have waited all of this time for ya'll to be a decent team, as well as thousands of other loyal Gamecock fans. So get it right!

To BD and LM: Glad ya'll made it out and are doing OK!

To Daddy Jitterbug: Why I can find you? I did not get paid this week from this "job" you convicned me into doing. I have realized that being a longshoreman is not for everyone and I'm one of those "not for everyone" people. Because it worked for you for 30 years does not mean it's for me. Now I need $ and I can't find you. Well hopefully, I don't have to worry about this anymore because I'm going back to a 9-5 and am finding a job that will provide A STEADY INCOME and will not have to wait out for the next 3-5 years to get a PERMENT (sp) JOB. And despite your objections, I'M BACK IN SCHOOL!!!! No job will ever stop me from continuning my education!!

To my Charleston attorney, who was handling my accident case:
You rock!!! You didn't have to do the things you did to make sure I got a decent settlement, but you did. Thanks a million!!!!

To the attorney in ATL, who I was trying to use to get more money (the accident happened in GA): You really dropped the ball. I called. My mom called. My Charleston attorney called. You did not returned any of our calls. That's OK. At least I know you're not getting a part of my settlement money because you didn't do anything, especially knowing the statue of limitation was near!

To the Alphas in Charlotte: I forgot to mention in my previous letter that ya'll were looking very good, too!!

To the Alpha I exchanged #s with: Even thought we live 3 hours from each other, I would like to get to know you better. Please call.

All signed,

Dear hormones,
Will you please stop whatever party ya'll are having in there? I cant deal with the mood swings, the nausea and the general weirdness that occurs when ya'll get to grooving. I'm bout to pull out the mama voice and tell ya'll to "sit yo' azzes down".

BIB-D: I am so glad you will be home today!! I love our new place, but it is lonely with out you there. You'll be in second grade come Tuesday! Where did the time go?

DSH: I cant stand you. But I know that you love me and that we will be together for a minute. And we are gonna box if you keep leaving the seat up. Es mi casa, y yo vivo aqui.

To my mom and grandmother: Glad you all are ok! Scared me half to death. We're working on something to get you out of Louisiana. Hang in there. I love you guys

To my co-workers: How I was able to function dealing with everything this week is beyond me. Thanks for letting a sister fall apart every now and then

To Geroge W: DO YOUR JOB.

To the housekeeper lady:
Why did you skip my garbage? Why when I spoke to you eleventy hundred times today did you not respond? Did I offend you in some way? I spoke to you the day you asked me about my daughter's situation. Was I supposed to sit with you at the lunch table, you already had someone there, that's why I didn't sit down. What do you want me to do? I don't understand people sometimes.

To J.W.
Why did you make me wait? I don't understand. What was the hold up, anyway? NOW you want a response? I don't think so my friend. You're damaged goods, buddy.

To the college students knocking at my door: Don't come into my office rocking a $200 purse and $200 shoes talking about "I don't have money for books."

To those same students: Stop complaining about how you pay $25,000 to come here. Everybody walking through my door is getting financial aid so go elsewhere with that bull. Not to mention you knew what the tuition was before you got here. So shut up!

To Mr. Ex LnF: Your loss buddy!!

Dear Clients,

I'm sorry I can't wave a magic wand and make it free. You have to pay for services. No one will come and clean your house for you, take you shopping, or provide you with a tub chair for free. When it is provided for free, there is a waiting list. A long one. So, you won't get your help in a timely fashion. I'm sorry I can't help you further. I know you're in need. I wish there was more I could do. I am frustrated.
