CONGRATS Flirt!!! yay!
My first car was a 1993 (i think?) Toyota Camry, I crashed that into a telephone poll a few months after my mom "gave it to me" (i say that b/c she let me drive it reluctantly)
After that it was a 1987 Audi Quattro that i LOVED (we named it boondock saint lol), i drove that thing into the ground until the catalytic converter totally went and we (meaning my mom) put so much money into it, that it just wasn't worth it anymore. It was such a tank though, it definitely saved my life a few times in bad weather, all wheel drive is great!
Then in 2005 I bought (w dad's help) a brand new honda civic (value package, roll down windows, nothing fancy, i just wanted it to be a black 2door w/ cdplayer, AC and Manual transmission with roll down windows and manual locks (b/c all the electrical stuff in my audi always went on the fritz), my baby jezebel. I still have it, and i'm wrestling with giving it up because it's just too hard to make the payments and with gas and everything

oh, that's nothing! My first new car is my 02 Trailblazer (first year model) and I love it! I got it in 2001 and it has over 190,000 miles. Needless to say, I drive at least 90 miles a day to work and back. I'm happy to say it gets about 20 mpg.
Before that, I had a 1987 Jeep Cherokee and someone decided to total it for me. I was so sad! We got that car when I was 10 and it went to car heaven when it was 15. That was my college car. In high school, I had the grey honda accord that everyone seemed to have in the early 90's. I really liked it, but it had alignment issues and ate up tires.

My first four cars were all used. I am now driving our first "new" car- a Saturn Ion. Bought mainly to get me to and from work with a little room in the back for one or two car seats. Getting all 5 of us in it would be difficult if not impossible.
I wish they made sedans that got good gas mileage AND had enough room for three car seats in the back.

I LOVED my first new car. It was a 1982 blue Honda Accord. It was sitting in the parking lot with a big red bow on it on my Sweet Sixteen. I was so happy.
That car never had a thing wrong with it and got great gas mileage. I still miss it.

My first brand new, just-off-the-lot car was an 01 Grand Prix. I got it in November, and at the end of December my friend Sarah and I drove it from Ames to Phoenix to go to the bowl game. It also took me on the 100-mile (one way) trip to see the boyfriend (now husband) multiple times per week during the last semester of college. She was a good car.
We traded it in 2005 for the Jeep Liberty CRD we currently drive (but will soon outgrow). So we're looking for yet another new car, most likely an Acadia or Outlook.

You've obviously never seen my husband drive. The Buick was primarily his car; at the time, I drove an Acura that I inherited from my mother when she stopped driving. That Buick has been in more accidents than I like to think about...

I've only owned used cars! I'm still driving my second Cougar, a '99 that I brought home in November of 2001. I'm still in love even with 132k miles. My first Cougar was a '93 XR7. It was a tank that saved my life, twice! I inherited that and my first baby, an '88 Thunderbird from my dad. I really miss my 'Bird

My first new car was in 2000, when I was about to start college. It was a silver 2000 Acura Integra.
