the size is 14x24
the buyer braxston123 contacted me to sell it outside of ebay for $900.00 but im not going to take that chance as he sounds like a punk kid trying to possibly scam me...also id like to sell it to a user on this forum if possible since your probably more trusted and a member of lambda chi alpha too...i really dont want this going into the wrong hands

I saw One in George's House Last Week!
Brothers,
I did a four hour interview last week with Brother George at his home in Indianapolis as part of my effort to generate a new Lambda Chi History Book for our Centennial.
He was given one of these plaques as a gift during his term as our Executive Director. His is mint!
What a man...What a memory!
This is one of small number that were made for our Fraternity and distributed to a very few Zetas in the Midwest. I would think 12 or so. One is at our IHQ.
It is very nice, well made, and rare.
It may have been stolen or it may have been sold when a House was closed. I doubt if a Lambda Chi would have sold it. But, who knows?
It would be worth buying.
It is not something that I really want for my collection. I am still holding out for another FEZ to show up on eBay!
By the way, John, THE FEZ is on display at IHQ.
The current owner could have disposed of it.
He didn't.
I hope someone in our Fraternity buys it.

HELP
This Bronze coat of arms was stolen from the LXA house in Muncie about 4 years ago. It is very important that we get it back. I have contacted the seller to take it off of ebay so we can buy it back. Anyone that can help us please contact me!

can anyone confirm or deny this hunch?

Yes, indeed it is the one stolen from the LXA house in Muncie...there are only 4 in existance.

How can you prove that? Is it signed or distinguishable?
It is a very original piece, but there are many people capable of making
it -- and it wouldn't differ much from one fo the other...

i have since found the original and rightful owners of this crest, while i guess if really wanted i could have continued to sell it but morals and the idea of it probably now being known stolen property makes it a little hard on the mind to sleep at night...i will take down the auction when i figure out how, sorry to those bidding including Tom Earp who i know really wanted this but its probably for the best as you cant put a price on history...so with that I will attemtp to remove and please stop bidding
PS> saw an ipod touch tonight, they are quite nice! sorry way OT

If it is indeed stolen property, maybe you should forward the name and address of the garage sale that you purchased it at?

Would be interested in finding out how it was proven who the owners were. If there were markings on it then that would be sure fire proof. If it was them, congratulations on getting it back to them.
