I knew this guy who was REALLY into horror flicks, and sadly, I saw a few of them. Some were true & I can't remember the names (like Ted Bundy and Manson - both disgusting/disturbing beyond comprehension) and one Last House on the Left (an early Wes Craven film) that will be scorched on my brain forever!!

Has anyone else seen that? Did the woman really do what I think she did to that guy? (Never mind, I just checked IMDB, and she did!

Oh, I did see The Lottery on my own. That's about as spooky as I'll willingly do!

If you couldn't stand to watch the remake (the one with Jessica Beal) then you probably wouldn't be able to watch the Original. The remake is NOTHING compared to the original. I watched the remake and I was bored stiff (and i am always scared of scary movies)...it is soooooo off, the original is MUCH scarier...i can't stand to watch it again. I saw it in 4th grade and thats about the only time i'll watch it!! lol.

I guess it is scarier to me cause it happened in Texas and they still haven't found the guy yet (from what i've heard).

Here's my list:
--The exorcist (the original and III)
--Poltergeist (any of em)
--It (it still scares the poop outta me....the communal shower scene....AHHHH, that scene is the reason i keep my eyes open when i wash my hair!!)
--Pet Cemetary 1 (i didn't like part 2)
--Signs (this one still creeps me out...shit that "home video" from Brazil, with the alien walking past and looking @ the camera....*shivers)
--The Shining.
--Any of the Michael Myers movies (who by the way i always thought was the same person that played Wayne Campbell! )
--Nightmare on Elm Street
--Constantine (ok, so its not scary, but its good!)
--Amityville Horror (either one....this remake isn't half bad, it kept me on the edge of my seat and the blanket half covering my eyes)
--White Noise (kinda confusing, but i thought it was good. Makes me wanna get a tape recorder and trying it! lol)
--Scream 1 (i have to agree that it is a good movie to watch around Halloween)

I also have my list of "Don't watch" mainly because they weren't scary...or just plain dumb:
--The Ring
--Darkness
--The Village

I have more, but I can't remember then right now! lol

I'm not really into scary movies, but the movies that scare the bejesus out of me are:

Stephen King's "IT"
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
