Sorry Tom. I need to get to Ohio and see my Dad. I didn't do that in time when my Mom died.
Maybe a good reminder for all who are far away from home.

Damn tom, I am sorry to hear about your dad. There are many of us on here who have been down the road you've been on. My last year as an undergrad, five of the active brothers lost their dads. I saw what a hard time it was for them. They relied a lot on the brothers to get them through. I'd suggest you do that as well. Count on the people important in your life to get you through.
We're all here for you.

Tom..sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my dad and mom within a month of each other.
As the others say, you take one hour at a time..sometimes minute by minute.
Know that there are people who you've never actually met that really care for you.
