My sincerest sympathies to the family and Delta Gamma chapter of Gina Zalunardo.
If foul play was indeed involved, I hope the guilty party or parties are arrested immediately.

The chapter has set up a scholarship in Gina's name, through the Delta Gamma Foundation. If you, personally, or your alumnae group, would like to contribute to this scholarship, send your donation to:

Very sad -- heartbreaking. The apparent cause of death was suicide, according to a statement by police following the autopsy results. The Modesto Bee has the Associated Press story:

This story makes me sick to my stomach. It makes me so sad. I don't even know how to put into words how I feel reading it.
I can't imagine the guilt her boyfriend is feeling right now. I feel very sorry for him and her family.

I cannot even imagine the sense of loss and grief her sisters, her family, and the community feels at this tragic loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with them all.

This is so awful!! My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and to her sisters. This will take a while to try and move on I know.... remember this is what sisters are for not just the good times....
I know I would be lost without my sisters.
