Ooooh go for the Looping, I think. Something about the Boulogne, I just don't like it. I also like the Cabas Piano, although I agree with whoever said that two strap bags are much more annoying than those with one strap. Enjoy your Vuitton!

Leave it to a DZ to find one of the most expensive bags in the collection! It IS gorgeous, though, isn't it? You have excellent taste, my sister
Thanks everyone for your opinions! I'm going shopping Tuesday so please keep the suggestions coming

Well, I discussed this with the felines, and here are our recommendatoins:
We're not particularly fond of the boulogne, but we're torn between the cabas piano and the looping -- they're both fabulous. I have a cabas mezzo and I LOVE it more than any woman should really love a handbag. I'm not sure if you're super careful with your bags, but I'm not and I've noticed that the bottom is getting rather dirty -- you wouldn't have that problem with the looping bag.

I have that one and it's great! You have the outside pockets where I put like chapsticka and gloss and other lil things. And the inside is really nice. It has this red suede like material. And it's roomy! Sometimes I carry my wallet, full size brush, phone, keys, and like block buster movies when I'm on my way to rturning them, or like a bottle of water.
ETA: Do NOT get bags on eBay unless you are ok with knowing that you may have a fake.

Yep, I have champagne tastes on a beer budget .
I'm trying to convince the Mr. to buy me this one for Christmas: http://www.eluxury.com/browse/produc...ectionID=6000. His response? "You do realize that bag costs more than your first car, right?" Sigh. I think I see Coach in my future .

C'mon, KR...Don't leave us in suspense-which one did you get?!
On a Louis related note: I saw a lady carrying this at the grocery store the other day: . (this is a replica, but you get the point) Tres tacky.

The winner of the "Tracy Tosses Away an Entire Paycheck" derby is:
the Cabas Piano!!!
I've had my bag for about a week and she is settling in nicely, although she doesn't get along very well with my Kates and Coaches. She has a sense of entitlement; tries to hog shelf space because she's more expensive than my other bags. Other than that, though, I am loving her and I thank everyone who chimed in with an opinion!
