Got a Paycheck; time to blow it! :)

Woo hoo! Did some freelance PR a few weeks ago and just got a check for my work. So naturally, I'm going to do what any redblooded purse fanatic would do: I'm blowing every cent of it on a new Louis! :) There are three that I really love (well, three within my price range anyway), so need some help from my fellow GC purse fanatics in choosing.

Valkryie, maybe you could ask Kierkegaard and little Valkyrie what they think. I hear Valkyrie especially knows her Louis :)

Louis Vuitton "Cabas Piano" (9.8" x 12" x 5")

Louis Vuitton "Boulogne" (12" x 11" 3")

Louis Vuitton "Looping Bag" (11.5" x 12" 4")

I really like the first one.I think it might be more practical for you too.Think of all the things you drag around in your purse for your daughters. However, the third one is really cute too.

I like #3. I prefer 1-strap rather than 2-straps, as I find that the 2nd strap is always falling off my shoulder and that drives me cuckoo for cocoapuffs.

Also #3 is big and can accomodate lots of stuff and I need a BIG PURSE.

I really like 1 and 2.

It's a tie between 1 and 3.

cutiepatootie 11-06-2004 07:09 PM

I like #1

I like #1 too. I've just recently become a fan of big, two-strap purses. So versatile! Who would have known?

Def. #1

I like #1 and #3. I'm a big Louis fan also! hehe. #3 comes in different size for not that much more. I'm not sure about #1, but it may come in different sizes.

I like #1 & #2.

Freelance money should always be spent on fun stuff! :)

I vote for #3.

Enjoy your new Louis! :)

It's not one of your choices, but I would recommend this one:

JESUS MARY AND JOSEPH! That's a 3 thousand dollar bag... That *almost* pays for an entire quarter of my college. That's like carrying college tuition on your arm. I think I'm getting hives just thinking about it. I can't even justify buying a 50 dollar sweater...

I'm more of a damier fan than signature

ETA: this is so unique but gorgeous.. of course I can't justify spending that on a bag, but it's fun to live vicariously through you ;)

I didn't say I was going to BUY it...I just think it's pretty!

Please, if I had a spare $3K laying around, it would be put directly on bills. Non-profit work is nice, but it's a guaranteed way NOT to get rich fast :)
