Our national magazine comes to us free. Major parts of it are also posted on our website.

The arrow is a lifetime membership paid through initiation dues, but you can also view it on the website.

Alpha Delta Pi's quarterly magazine, The Adelphean, is sent to all initiated members of Alpha Delta Pi, alumnae and collegian, as part of your lifetime membership (at no extra charge).

The only issue of the Sphinx I ever saw was during pledging, and it was like a 2 year old copy. Does every chapter get a copy of the Sphinx or am I suppose to get my own personal copy?? Ugh, where is my Sphinx?? lol.

Theta Phi Alpha's "The Compass" is sent to every collegian 4 times a year and is paid for in her dues. In order to keep receiving it as an alumna, you must pay your alumnae dues each year. It is not available on the website or through e-mail, although I have heard they might be starting a new online newsletter.

Once you are initiated into Kappa, you start receiving The Key, Kappa's quarterly magazine. And you continue to receive it, free-of-charge, until you either resign your membership or die.

With Kappa, your Key is sent to your parent's address while you are an active. You have to change your address with our Headquarters in order to receive it elsewhere. Therefore, we still have people who are 10 or more years out of school whos parents still receive their copy of the Key.

The Magazine of Sigma Chi
Well, you learn something new everyday. I always thought that The Magazine of Sigma Chi was free for life but it is not.
Quote:
HOW TO RECEIVE THE MAGAZINE
Undergraduate: Undergraduate members receive The Magazine through payment of semi-annual dues to their chapter. Individual copies are mailed to each undergraduate's permanent (home) address, and several copies are sent to the Consul of each chapter.
Alumni: The Fraternity gives each recent graduate in good standing a one-year complimentary membership in the Alumni Program. Benefits of this membership include four issues of The Magazine. At the end of the year, recent graduates may renew their Magazine subscription through continued membership in the Alumni Program ($25 per year) or by purchasing a Life Loyal Sig membership ($295). The subscription rate for non-Sigma Chis is $25 per year. Single copies can be purchased for $7 each.

It pays to be current with dues.

The Sigma Kappa Triangle comes out quarterly and "the annual subscription fee is $2, paid through lifetime membership." So it's paid through our initiation fees to NHQ.

For those of you who talk about a subscription, or what not....are you paying alumnae dues? I wonder if you don't pay those, then maybe you aren't going to get the magazine.

None of the Adelphean is online at this moment, but our national website is being completely updated even as we speak. I really hope that there will be parts of the Adelphean available online!
And no, you don't have to pay alumnae dues to get your Adelphean for the rest of your life.

The Alpha Phi Quarterly is a quarterly hard-copy. The lifetime subscription is included in your initiation fee. You can view it on-line via Alpha Phi's website, but it is not sent via e-mail

Unless you want to send a subscription to your mom or something.

I think those are in case Greek Life offices or NPC or other governance-type groups want to subscribe.

Beta Sigma Phi's is called the Torch and I think it only comes out every month from September-June (well those are the ones I have been getting, I think)

I'm surprised that another Tridelt hasn't written in yet since all the changes going on with our magazine...
Tridelta's " The Trident" comes out four times a year use to be a lifetime subscription, now will be only delivered to collegiate members, alumni who pay dues, and LifeLoyal members. I honestly think this is a great idea... imagine the money that Tridelta will now save and the magazine will now only go to people who enjoy it. Also, think of about how many of them probably go to old addresses? That saved money can go to help struggling chapters, sisters in need, scholarships, and new chapters!
I know a big part of why I went LifeLoyal after college is that I wanted to still get the Trident but I didn't know if I wanted to get active in an alumni group yet. So, it can also be a reason to get lost alumni connected to Tridelt again as well!
