I see that AKA has some chapters outside of the USA, but none in Canada. Will there be any in the future, do you think?
The Toronto area has a fairly large black population, so U of Toronto might be a good choice for a BGLO. What do you AKA ladies think?

Go-Go Girl, anything is possible. If there are ladies interested in chartering a chapter in that area of Canada then that would be a great addition to our international region.

Why should this post be moved to the AKA forum or deleted? Are you that much of a hater where you cannot stand to see anything POSITIVE regarding AKA on the General forum or any forum? There are many Greek organiztions represented on this forum. So what's the problem? Like my students say..."Don't Playa Hate...Participate" Oh, now ya see, that's the problem!

SKEEEEWEEEE my sorors! AKA2d '91 that is so true. It's pretty pathetic the way primarily non-greeks and greek membership seekers are the ones posting negative comments in reference to greek organizations. Unless they learn the meaning of greek love, they will be perpetual "wanna be's".

Hey hey now, I am someone was aspires to be a part of this organization and I'd never try to downplay what another organization is doing. How do we know that's not members of other org's hatin' over the net? I myself have nothing to gain by putting down this, or any other orgs. I am not trying to sway prospects so they can join something else because I have nothing to gain from that! I hope all of the other "wanna be's" feel the same way. I can have nothing but love for ANYONE doing something positive. And I wouldn't want to be a part of something if I thought it to be something less than positive.

First of all I would like to give hugs to all my wonderful sorors out there. Next, in response to all the negative statements made about us ... because we are women of distinction, we will always be hated on. All the hatred stems from this thing called envy. If you let envy take you over then oh well, but don't put others down when you truly know they are doing right. Instead of bring us down, you should try and help lift us up even more. Don't you think it is about time that us as black people try and help one another instead of always saying and doing things to break us down. Oh, and to the bruh that made a comment ... I would just like to say that "yes" I think people are drinking the "hatorade" especially on AKA's but I think that the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority should take it as a compliment becuase first of all, they Know that they are bomb, and if they were'nt then their would'nt be haters out there to prove it. *smile* I hope I did'nt offend anyone.
