I agree 100%....there just used to be more interesting topics. I don't come on that often with work and stuff, but when I do there doesn't seem to be as many good topics as there used to be.

I'd much rather have talks about sex and drinking with the added drama, than I would with these stupid "have you watched ths ________ <== insert stupid tv show."

When people start getting serious in a debate it usually adds more feeling and emotion so it tends to get more personal at times. And to be honest, I think the last few debates on religion and race or whatever have actually been quite decent.

I like the race and religion debates too.

I think the message board has just "gone downhill" for those of you who have been here for a while because a lot of the posts that seemed "new and exciting" at the time have been done about six different times since.

I think there are very few interesting things to read. I get sick of seeing all the posts about sex and drinking. Surely there's something else to talk about!!!

And you have a right to your opinion. I, personally, would rather discuss a television show that I watch than hear "omigod, I am so drunk right now" or "I got so wasted last night." That is why there are different forums and threads.

Yeah, the "I'm so drunk" threads don't really interest me, so I usually skip over them. If someone else is interested, "to each their own".

a TV show/movies forum might be a good forum?

There are different forums? Judging from the way some ppl post in chit chat, I didn't think everyone knew it!

Are you the GC police? What business is it of yours who posts where? This is a message board. People have the right to come here and post wherever they like...whether that be only in Chit Chat, only in Greek Life, only in Rush, only in their own GLO forum, etc.

I only go the Greek Life, Rush, Chit Chat and Moderators.
I rarely go to the other forums, as they are not that interesting to me........

I think it has to do with your statement. Some of GC's GREATEST posters...of which I count you...don't frequent the boards as much. Maybe they changed names, and I haven't noticed.
I miss a lot of the people.

Maybe everyone has aged a bit too, and you know how BORING older people are!

Well, Arya and Lifesaver have been trying to liven things up (OMG, Life - does our junk smell? ) - Arya - well - he has some interesting posts....

Maybe because it's summer, and things are mellow (here in Colorado it was 108 yesterday, hotter today (all time records)) - so I haven't been all that creative, along with other "life" issues...

Hmmm kay

You all don't like:
-topics related to alcohol
-topics related to sex
-topics related to tv
-debates, especially those related to race or politics
-frivolous topics
-serious topics
-survey type of topics
-drama
-peace

....then what do you like? If you don't like the above why don't you post threads about things that YOU would like to discuss, i'm sure people will reply.

There used to be a lot of interesting posts on here but maybe everything was covered at one point? I swear there is a topic for everything in this forum.
