The OU Betas are a great chapter, huge house, huge on campus, awesome grades, best in sports, huge numbers - 60 man pledge classes, always winning awards...etc.
OSU, just re-orged after being shut down. They will be back strong in a few years though, their alumni are in the midst of raising some $10,000,000 for a new house.
Mizzou, probably our best chapter and arguably the best fraternity chapter in the nation (when talking about
: grade rankings, intramural rankings, alumni donations, leadership on campus...etc.)
The longest Beta chapter in existence is Washington and Jefferson, the Gamma Chapter. This chapter has been in existence CONTINUOUSLY since 1842 I believe. This also makes this the longest fraternity/sorority chapter (of continuous existence) in the world.
Every fraternity/sorority will have their chapters that are"hardly existent" on campus, or known as the "dope smokers".....don't fret.
PS, what schools are you all at? It is great to hear about my Beta brothers, but it is hard to relate when you don't know what school your are talking about.

The Oklahoma University Betas I don't know a whole lot about... My 2nd cousin is an alumnus of that chapter though... He's on your list of famous Betas.. Richard Taylor.
