I'm so glad I asked about the leggings? I've always been on the fence about them. Mainly because I see so many college age girls wearing them with short shirts or sweatshirts and it just not attractive. Where does one buy good leggings? I have some from target, but I wear those under dresses usually.

For reasonably priced leggings:

Ross
TJMaxx
Target
Plato's Closet
Style Encore
Local clothing stores

Remember to put your hand through the item to check the thickness.

A lot of people who wear see through legging or stockings are not intended to be raunchy. They didn't check the thickness and check their front and rear in a full mirror. When they left the house they didn't know you could see their Care Bears underwear.

The best leggings are the Vera Wang brand from Kohl's. The knees do not stretch out and I know, I have them in three colors! Also, the price is right.

What would you recommend for a sorority function in Texas where the attire is listed as Church?

Badge attire I understand, but I'm wondering if this is more dressy? I'm obviously not from the area!

Texas is not my wheelhouse, but I always err on the side of over dressed rather than under dressed. If I were dressing for the event, I would go with nice dress maybe a simple, yet classy, sheath or a nice wrap dress. The key is accessories and shoes. Try to go with a wedge or low to mid heel to dress it up. When I hear "church" as a descriptor for a Southern event, I think dressy dress.

In Texas - when they say Church Dress, they mean what you would wear to services at a Baptist church- a nice dress shoulders covered maybe a little conservative. No pants. No sandals.

Thank you! I was thinking along these lines but it's nice to double check!
