Sen, some folks here know I was stalked twice in my life. Came out of it both times alive and one stalker is dead, the other is far away. Best advice I got from LE during the ordeals (and that is what they are) came straight out of Gavin de Becker's The Gift of Fear.
I am with you.

Same here.
Do not hesitate to contact law enforcement, Sen. Keep everything that might possibly be evidence as well.

Oh, Sen, I'm so sorry to hear this. It just blows. I'm in agreement-- contact the police.

Unfortunately, Sen is not the first GC'er with an ex-GC'er stalker. We have some former members who have had to go to great lengths to get a cyberstalker off their tail. Going to the police didn't help, unfortunately. Can't remember why, but it didn't.

Legal Aid is a great resource. I have volunteered with the local organization in the past to interpret legal documents for their clients. Depending on your situation, they might take you on as a client. Representing yourself pro se in a cyberstalking case would be difficult. Have your evidence available and organized: not just emails but any type of phone records.
Sorry you are going through this.

I'm sorry Sen is going through it too.
Isn't there some reason to hope that maybe cyber-stalking laws are catching up with the crazy?

I know that this is old, but maybe you or someone else can find some value in my suggestion.
There will likely be plenty of hits on Google because you are a published author, but try searching for your name and look for places where you might be able to control information about you. For example, all of those sites like "MyLife" and "Intellus" - you can request removal.
Change settings for sites you have signed up for - Linkedin, etc., and regulate who can contact you (or cannot), and perhaps hiding the name/place you work, etc.
I hope the problem has been resolved by now but if it has not, good luck!
