I want to join a sorority but I'm nervous about the naked pillow fights I'll be expected to join in. I don't have a very bodacious figure and I wouldn't want the sisters to make fun of me.

You need to have breast implants before Recruitment. All chapters require a B average not just for grades but for breasts.

I just really want to impress all the sisters, it's the ONLY house I will even consider accepting a bid from. OMGZZZ.
Be sure to display the necklace prominently throughout all of the rush events. Never fail to mention that you are a triple Phi Mu legacy. Announce to everyone who will listen that you've been told by the Phi Mu chapter president's mother that you are guaranteed a bid.
Don't forget to wear your PHI MU thong underwear and tip your skirt to impress the sisters. Always a sure way to bid.

I went through recruitment. BUT I was cut from my top two chapters and didn't like the other 14 so I dropped out. Should I talk to the girls about why they hate me? Maybe they can tell me why everyone hated me. Maybe they can give me a bid right then?
Again, with PHI MU necklace and thong you can't go wrong! Add the Brussels Sprouts dress to get into the high tiered houses.

C average means you will need breast implants to a C cup to make up for your low grades. Get Recs from all of the guys that you slept with. Sisters will be impressed!

LOL. I love those posts. They're my fave. As soon as he found out I wasn't white, he'd tell me to go take care of my kids. There's just one small problem with that statement...

Be sure that you send them constant FB messages asking why. I'm sure they'll change their mind and you can COB.

Come on GCers, you know you are good advice givers!

WARNING, IF YOU GET EASILY OFFENDED, THIS THREAD IS NOT FOR YOU!!!
DO NOT TAKE SERIOUSLY NOR GET OFFENDED!

So, I need advice on if I should rush, I mean go through recruitment because I love wearing and making clothing out of Brussels sprouts. Sometimes, I like to make and wear whole dresses out of Brussels sprout and wear them around the house or to the grocery store.

Should I tell the girls this during Recruitment?
Could I wear a Brussels sprout dress to Recruitment?
Will they think that I am odd?
What will I ever do when I move into the house at my big SEC school?

ADVICE NEEDED...Your pathetic socially awkward PNM.

Best made up story lol lol lol

Hahahaha didn't we actually have someone post that or something reeeaaallly similar? This post is jogging my memory.

But yes, it is but you have to do it anyway. Open your handbook to p. 3876 and you'll see it (but you'll only get one after you're initiated so you'll just have to take my word for it). And I've never been Greek but my 3rd cousin is which makes me totally qualified to answer this question.

If I just found out I was pregnant and rush starts next week, should I disclose that to the people that talk to me? I mean, my mother's sister's daughter-in-law was an ABC so I am sure that I am totally "in" there. She wrote me a letter of recommedation but of course I was not preggo at the time. I am really conflicted on whether I should disclose this. I plan on having the baby this summer so it should not interfer with my education or my social life. Anyone? Please?

You know I was just thinking the other day he hasn't been around recently. Maybe he got a life?

No. You should only mention it if you're conceiving while you're pledging.

I'm a quadruple XYZ legacy, but I'm not cool with the ritual goat sacrafice. Can I bring a badger instead?

Because we don't know the specifics of your particular XYZ chapter and your school, animal replacement could be a bad idea. Let's say if you went to U of Wisconsin. They could have a HUGE issue with the Badger. You may want to address this question to one of peeps in your "quad" legacy group and ask what they think.

And thanks for the advice on being preggers. At least I won't be actively conceiving during that time. I think that would be awkward. Don't you?

Goats are always superior to a badger for a ritual sacrifice (duh!). I'm sure the sorority will make an exception for you since you are a quadruple XYZ, But, if it HAS to be a badger, make sure its a honey badger!

I've went through recruitment 7 times and keep getting dropped from the 2 top groups that I know that I am perfect for. I'm also 45 years old, married, have 10 kids, and one on the way. If I rush again, what are my chances of getting a bid?
