In all seriousness, the OP needs to look at the sororities at her school. Are there non-traditional students in sororities? This is the best indicator as to whether she has a chance.

A few years ago we had a 29 year old PNM (I think she might have been married too) join Gamma Phi Beta at Wisconsin-Oshkosh. I think she was a junior though. She was otherwise a good candidate. Chapters there have some non-traditional students.

If you want to go through fall recruitment, do it. Just realize that the odds of receiving a bid will probably not be all that great due to your class standing and age.

Have a good, positive answer ready about why you're going through recruitment at this late stage. What do you hope to gain? (...as opposed to negatives about why you didn't do this before.) How can you hit the ground running to help your potential GLO?

Enjoy it. Don't worry about things that are beyond your control. Realize that each GLO -- even if you don't feel a strong connection -- offers a tremendous opportunity, not only now, but in the future.

If it doesn't work out, check out community sororities such as Beta Sigma Phi.
