I think you mean Huntingdon County. It's in an unfortunate part of the state, where a lot of this nonsense happens.
I have an older friend whose son got involved in white supremacy as a teenager. Unfortunately, he had a daughter prior ending up in prison. The poor child's name is Aryan Nation Surname, but as her grandparents are raising her, they call her by a much better name (which I won't say, since it's rather uncommon). She's growing up with a beautiful spirit about her, and is nothing at all like her name - thank heavens!

Seriously? I mean, even you subscribe to such ridiculous nonsense, why go so far as to name your child after your political cause? Have you ever met someone who named their kids "Flat Tax" or "Legalize Weed"? No, because you're a clueless Nazi.
Also, isn't Campbell a Scottish name?

I've actually met people named Arian or Aryan, who weren't white, wtf is that about? There's also a chick I've run into a few times named Ariann and it is pronounced Aryan...seriously, what are people thinking?

Hey, my real name is Arya. There is a bigger world beside the Anglo-Saxon world out there. Arya, Arian or aryan is a perfectly acceptable name in many cultures.
Hell, Swastika is still very acceptable in Asian societies. There is even a hotel called Swastika Bungalowl in Bali, Indonesia.

Well, in the case I mentioned, the father's name was Ryan, so they "just added the 'a'". No wonder the judge gave the grandmother custody!
And you're right - Campbell is Scots.
I just realized that one of the names I've seen & liked is Arianna - thinking opera. I'll bet many people would think it's a white supremist thing.
moe.ron - how do the bell hops salute at the hotel Swastika Bungalowl?

I know dear, but you don't live in north Idaho where the Aryan Nation was headquartered. I find it strange that people locally would do this.

Those sound more like Zappa names to me.

The swastika was a symbol of good luck and prosperity before the Nazis adopted it. Now, the first thing many people think of when they see a swastika is the Nazi regime.
I feel sorry for these poor kids, especially li'l Adolf. JoyceLynn can at least go by her first name, and Honszlynn could use her middle name Jeannie, but Adolf is in for a nasty shock when he starts school (if not before). I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to court on his 18th birthday for a name change.
Those parents deserve a swift kick in the teeth... for starters.
ETA: And wouldn't it just be ironic if one of the kids marries a Jew, or converts to Judaism, or turns out to be gay... or all three.

Does that kid have a mullet? It looks like it. If so, that in itself is child abuse.

These parents just want attention. If they really just wanted a cake, they could have put Happy Birthday Adolf on there and left off the Hitler part since it's rare for people to put the first and middle name on a cake anyway.
Sometimes I wish the media wouldn't print things like this. The last thing anyone should do is feed into this madness.

Well, I agree that the mother should of just stuck with adolf, especially since this was the third year she has called the same place for the cake. Secondly, she should have gone in, not called it in... Third, she should of just done it herself to begin with... HOWEVER, with proof of the name, such as the birth certificate, the store should of done the damn cake. It is the kids name, and he should not be punished for his parent's beliefs. The place should of done the cake with the name on it. NOW, the swastika, or anything related to the whole white supremacy or Nazi shtick totally should be up to the store to do.

Well the store has the right to refrain from doing something they find inappropriate.

Yeah, I agree - the store should only refuse to do things associated with the Nazi shtick, and thus should have written ADOLF HITLER on the cake. Wait.
