Yes...there is no age limit on buying pregnancy tests, condoms or other birth control, etc. Only cigarettes and alcohol. Pregnancy tests run around $10 for two now too. How did she figure out she MIGHT be pregnant to begin with? Obviously her cycle had started or was about to start....
what a sad terrible mess for this girl and her family.

My parents are from a small town in LA. If you commit a crime, your address is going in the paper. I thought it was the oddest thing. But, um...they don't play.

That's standard police blotter stuff that you still see in many small-town and community newspapers. Police reports, as are lawsuits and other legal documents, are public records.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Climbers poking around a high-elevation camp on Mount McKinley discovered a human foot sticking out of the snow. Rangers dug out the frozen corpse of a man who died 35 years ago.

Exhibit With Human Bodies Debuts in L.A.
Someone at my job told me about this today. She said,"They must be German." We just laughed it off and continued with our meeting. WHY IS THE CREATOR GERMAN?!?
By KRISTIE A. MARTINEZ
.c The Associated Press
LOS ANGELES (AP) - A pregnant woman lies on her side with a hand behind her head as if posing for a nude photograph. But her dead body isn't the only thing exposed. Her heart, intestines and 8-month-old fetus are visible as well.
The woman was one of more than 200 people who donated their cadavers for use in ``Body Worlds: The Anatomical Exhibition of Real Human Bodies,'' which makes its U.S. debut Friday at the California Science Center.
Intended to teach people about human skeletal, cardiovascular and other systems, the final exhibit includes 25 bodies that have undergone a process called ``plastination'' in which body fluids are replaced with clear, pliable plastic.

Horrible woman
I'm the type of person who tears up when buying babyperson gifts. These stories burn me up.
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...wborns_slain_1
CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - A woman pleaded guilty Tuesday to killing two of her newborns, one on Mother's Day last year while her husband and two children slept, and hiding their bodies in concrete.
Stacy DeBeer, 31, agreed to plead guilty in exchange for two consecutive terms of 15 years to life in prison. She would not be eligible for parole until she served 30 years, prosecutor R. Michael Tantillo said.
Before dawn on May 11, 2003 — Mother's Day and her 29th birthday — DeBeer said she gave birth on her living-room couch, placed the infant girl in a garbage bag and hid the body. She told police she killed another newborn, also a girl, five years earlier.
