i want to see everyone's pic but my computer is waaaay too slow and i am waaaay too impatient.
and i have to add my thoughts about Tom Earp: I picture him as a cowboy. Probably tall, with dark hair, and tanned skin.
I think its the Earp part....makes me think of Wytt (Wyatt?? can't spell) and then I start thinking of movies like Tombstone, and the Bon Jovi video for Dead or Alive and Blaze of Glory. ::shrugs::

This is the first chance I've had to read this thread, and it's a riot!

No wrath - I'm more about laughing than wrathing! ( wrathing?!) I just looked for a picture of me on the web, but it hasn't been posted yet - next week! When I was a sweet young thing going through rush, I didn't know that I was almost cut because I looked too much like a young Marilyn Monroe! I quit bleaching my hair, though, and am back to my natural red (and went from a hundred and twenty to a hundred and plenty!).

I agree with librasoul...for most of you, I picture a personality more than a face.
|
That is exactly how I pictured DeltAlum, too! And librasoul has the right attitude - even though we all tend to think in the physical!
I picture texas*princess as looking somewhat like Jennifer Lopez, and Tom Earp like Jim Carey. Carnation, you'll have to show us a picture to convince us that you don't look like Sally Field, because that's the image I got, too!
Where is this Greek Chat album about which I've heard?

We got to get at the Bar at the same TIME!!!!!!
Dolphin, Wyatt was very tall for the Time, damn I wished I looked like Kurt Russel in TombStone!!!!!
For Wyatt Earp Nuts, I am 3 rd Cuz, and the Actress who played Josie in Costner movie was a damn close dead ringer!
I fell in love with her because of the Earp Blood!

Sheila, you're right, in that picture of Wendy Moniz she DOES look like I did the night we all got together! My hair's grown out since then, though so now I guess I just look like Wendy Moniz with no discernable hairstyle! lol
To all of you 33Girl fans out there, I personally think she bears a resemblence to Patricia Heaton of Everybody Loves Raymond.

It's nice to finally have a face to put with an email.
My best friend once said he wondered not only what the other GCers looked like, but how they picture us. What a cool thread.
I always picture violets as looking and acting alot like my friend Emily who is an ADPi alum from the chapter here. Emily was very genteel for a lack of a better word, very encouraging even when she was telling you that you were an idiot, and the most adorable southern belle. Geography may argue with me a little...

I'm one of those people that says "so-and-so" reminds me of "so-and-so"'; the person that I say it to looks at me like I am crazy. Sometimes it's not EXACTLY that they favor, maybe a little, but it is more of how they talk, act, etc.
Having said that disclaimer
Carnation seems to be a combination of Sissy Spacek (no, not as the evil Carrie..which I never saw!) and Sally Fields in Steel Magnolia.
LtColGPB, yea Deborah Winger in her teens/early 20's days. I rarely meet anyone with that much enthusiam and spirit anymore in a non-Greek atmosphere!
Tom did because he said he was a LXA and owned a cigar store (hope I got that right!!!)).
I looked at the yahoo pics yesterday and some looked like what I thought and some didn't...
As for me..I haven't found a good pic ((No, Cele, not that one, lol))
Maybe next week.....

Except that Sissy Spacek is blonde and fair and I've surely never been that!

Ever have one of those moments when you have posted something, left the house and a few miles down the road, it hits you that something was wrong!
So, we were heading to the library and I dashed over to use the Internet so that I could correct my mistake about Tom..only to get rejected b/c the GC is a CHAT!!!
Oh well..came home to my sometimes trusty computer and fixed it!
Sorry, Tom, hopefully you didn't notice

This is the first time I've read this thread and it's hilarious!!!
honeychile, I *wish* I looked like Jennifer Lopez!!! hehehe
Here are a few that I could think of right now --
honeychile - Like AGDPrincess, I definately picture honeychile like a Southern Belle! I think it's because honeychile always has a sweet, eloquent way to respond to everything (not to mention her awesome tastes in china and silver patterns!!!)
KillarneyRose - Don't as me why, but every single time I see KillarneyRose's GC name, I am reminded of "Rosepetal" from the 80s cartoon Rose Petal Place:
Cream - I've always thought Cream maybe looked like Julia Roberts. I think it's because based on her posts, her personality definately matches the typical Julia Roberts movie character as a fun-loving, easy-going type person
Justamom - I've always pictured JAM as Joanna Kerns from the TV show "Growing Pains". Jam always has a fun-motherly personality in her posts and I definatley think it fits with Joanna Kerns' character from "Growing Pains"
TomEarp - Jim Carrey definatley comes to mind
