She’s older than him, so she doesn’t like to play with him as much. But sometimes she will. Isn’t Chance cute?!

Lmao! Chance does look like he’d be annoying though Lol!

I came over here to say, my brother just called me to tell me that he’s helping my nephew unpack. He’s starting his freshman year in college. I remember the day he was born. Now, as his uncle, I’m naturally going to begin to worry. He wants to be a pilot or aeronautical engineer. He’s undecided now. He graduated high school, top of his class, so whatever he decides, I know he’ll do it. He’s 18, so I wrote him a letter with 18 pieces of advice. He said he received it. I hope he adheres to it all… well, at least most of it, LOL.

What school, if you don’t mind me asking. PB, your whole family is greek so what’s your nephew going to pledge? I know you’ll be back on here with your regular shit talking if he pledges Krappa Lol. If he’s smart, he’ll see the light and pledge Alpha like his grandfather, your pops. Your brother is a Krappa too, right?

Tuskegee. He’s saying he has no interest in pledging anything. When I got to college, my freshman year, I didn’t even know what a fraternity was, and also expressed no interest. He knows what a fraternity is and is expressing no interest. We’ll see. Hopefully, he’ll make the right decision and roll with the fraternity that Achieves, while looking good doing it. You know… just in case you don’t remember, the most hated organization within the Divine 9. No need for me to say which fraternity that is because I know which one it is and you do too. But it’s all good, you’re not alone. I hated the NUPES too, before I decided to join them.
Yeah, my brother is also a NUPE.

Thanks, Dee.
Besides the weather, how’s Austin?

Lol talkin shit again. TonyB06 would have responded to your shit talking already, so I’d be coming in on the back end like how it was back in the day Lol.
What kind of advice did you give your nephew? Don’t go to parties or drink? Lol I still don’t know how you were picked, pledged, and made it, but nobody knew you, you didn’t party, didn’t drink, didn’t get drunk, didn’t have side chicks, but you joined the main fraternity that’s the most commonly associated with that behavior. I did all that when I was in college. Most fun times of my life.

😂🤣
Nah, I told him to have fun, but to focus on the reason he’s there. He’s got great parents, and was raised right, so he’ll be fine. Just some extra words of advice from Unc, that’s all.

It's a really fun city with a great vibe. I need to go there when it's not quite that hot and when I have more time to play. This was my third time going there - once for work, twice for professional conferences. They have a great music scene and a lot of art, but you'd really love seeing the Congress Avenue bats.
There's a colony of up to 1.5 million bats that live on the underside of a bridge downtown that goes over the Colorado River. They are there from April- September or so and then go to Mexico. Every night, around sunset, they come out from under the bridge in a very orderly fashion and fly into Austin to eat all the bugs. There are hardly any bugs in Austin because of them! There are all kinds of different bat tours you can do on the river and at least a hundred people aggregate on and around the bridge to watch this. I tried to watch them Sunday and they didn't come out that night. They did come out last night though. If you Google Congress Avenue Bridge bats in Austin, you can read more about them. It's really unique.
The food in Austin is amazing too. Lots of great TexMex plus barbecue. I really want to go there just to sight see and not for work- when it's not in the hottest parts of summer! It felt great to fly back to DTW to a beautiful 74 degrees!

You ever watch these, PB? I was just browsing YT and ran across this video. Would you be a tour guide at a museum like this one, if given the opportunity? You’d probably volunteer Lol.

I’m so glad you still had fun, with the short time you were there . I’ve never heard of the Congress Avenue Bridge Bats, so I looked them up on YouTube. So amazing! And Austin is such a beautiful city, looking at it on YouTube. I love the skyline. Those bats eat 30,000 pounds of bugs??! That’s a lot of bugs, lol. I love bats, they are such amazing mammals.
I’m glad you made it back safely.

Yeah, there are NO bugs in Austin, as hot and humid as it is. I did have fun- I really do want to go back when it's not so hot and I can focus on fun instead of work stuff. The sad part is that there are two former co-workers I was supposed to meet with for dinner on two different days and they both had to cancel at the last minute. I was really bummed out.

You should go back in the fall or winter, maybe. It will be cooler and less humid, I’ll bet. Maybe you and TKE Guy can go together.

I'm trying to figure out what he ever does for fun. Whatever it is, he doesn't post about it online much. I'm not sure he's into the kind of music you find in Austin-I really just don't know what he does. He never posts about traveling or anything. I love to travel, I like to be out and about and doing fun things. We're supposed to talk this weekend at some point. He has a motorcycle that I know he likes to ride, but he hasn't even posted about that lately.
