Hey there, everyone! Well, Mary, we also had a pledge class song till we were told by our CC 2 year ago that it was considered hazing and we almost lost our new member class because of it. Personally, I thought it was fun!! We also had to make a new member skit, and a scrapbook of all our pledging memories. Sadly, I think all that is gone now. So sad that BAD hazing takes away the fun of BONDING. But I guess thats the way it works!
Anyways--my pledge class song was to the tune of "American Pie" and it went
"Bye, Bye, Miss Alpha Omicron Pi, drove my chevy to the rose house but the rose house was dry, and the Kappa Sig boys were drinking Jim Beam and Rye, singing that I'll be the day that I die, when I am lucky enough to date an AOTT"
We had like 5 verses, too! And the class the year after me did the Barbie song too, Mary!!! Great AOTT minds think alike!
