Aaliyah
I was saddened to hear of Aaliyah's death. I wanted it to be a trick someone was playing also. She has come so far and represented our women of color well at such a young age. I was the ghetto one to say oh she's too pretty to die, lol. Joking off the saddened feelings. Pretty messed up isn't it? As a christian I haven't really been into the R&B world, but Aaliyah was someone I admired as a performing arts star, I hope that she got her life together before it ended. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family for this time a year ago I lost one of the closest members in my family.
