I assume the pediatrician told her to keep him on whole is that he is going to be a huge guy when he grows up. THey did the height thing and he is going to be about 6'4". Hes always been in the 99 or 100th percentile and at 31/2 weights about 45 lbs and is half the size of my sister. She is 5'8". Hes not fat at all. We tease her that she gave birth to a footbll player. We also tease her about how hard its gonna be to afford to feed him when hes a teen. She'll be making daily trips to the grocery store.

After years of skim, last night my bf accidentally bought 2% milk. The skim has a blue cap so when I saw the purple cap I knew something was wrong. It's 2% milk this week. I'm not sure how I'll adjust.

The height prediction isn't always correct. They said that I would be about 5'6, but I'm a tiny 5'2.

Skim, all the way

Sometimes, to celebrate something, I add chocolate to the milk

True. I hope he wont be 6' 4". I think thats too tall. Have trouble finding clotes that fit and stuff. He'll also be cramped on planes and stuff. It'd be great if he tops out at 6'2".

The 2% milk tastes great.

6'4" is tall, but not freakishly so. Once you hit 6'6" then you become NBA material.

I prefer 2% --- whole milk is like fat in a jug--- and skim seems to be like cum in a jug!

My sons' ped told me to switch from formula to whole milk at 12months-- and at their 2nd bday switch them to 2%, they didn't need that much fat after that.

As far as the height thing-- you will not have a hard time finding clothes at 6'4", not at all (well unless you are shopping at walmart) but any decent department store will have clothes to fit a 6'4" frame, it's not really that tall.

I don't know if 6'4" would be that bad; I think that you need to go a bit bigger than that to start having problems. I was projected to be 6'3" and I ended up at 6'0'', so you never know.

I have no problem finding clothes and I'm 6'4. The only time I may have some trouble is when I'm late getting to the department stores after a certain style has been out for a while and I want something that came out 3-4 months ago.

ETA: but 6'4 is tall...you're just used to a 7'0 tall husband.

Oh the things I am used too... hee hee!!!!

And you are exactly right-- that seems to be the only downfall on buying clothes or shoes for tall people-- you need to buy them as soon they hit the stores. If you see something that fits, you buy it. There is rarely any "ohh I will wait to pay day" --if you wait-it's gone!

2% baby! Whole milk gets me a little gassy, if you know what I mean.
