I would think it just depends on the school. We have informal recruitment in the fall, and everyone (PNMs and sisters) wore jeans. Ours was really laid back. We gave house tours one night, played games the next night, and watched a movie the following night. The most dressed up night was the open house and that was because it was the first chance for the freshmen women to come over to our house and we wanted to make a good impression. Some of the PNMs wore khakis, but none of them were more dressed up than that for the rest of the week. I would say that dress probably depends on the atmosphere of your school and you should contact your Panhellenic VP Recruitment to find out what the atmosphere on your campus is for informal recruitment.
