dude, do you honestly think there's a way he'll be 'un-hurt' - simply put, can she "make it better"?
Obviously not - she's still a hooker. Obviously, since he's crushed, that's a deal-breaker for him (uh, no disrespect to James, but I'm pretty sure it would be for me, too, regardless of double standard). There's literally nothing he can do that will immediately, irrevocably, permanently make him feel better about this shit. It's a trainwreck.
What will make it worse is still dicking around with her. He just needs to bail, and get moving on.
