The miniseries was really disappointing. I've never read the books; I was going in with an open mind. The trailers looked good, the cast had some good names in it, and I had heard good things about the reviews. In fact, I had anticipated seeing this movie for several weeks. However, it just fell flat.
I completely lost interest within the first hour. I watched the whole thing (both installments), but it never managed to capture my interest (though I kept watching in hopes it would). The acting, plot and cinematography were not compelling. With all the hype this movie received, I feel let down.
