I was spelling bee champion in grades 4-7

My mom misspelled my middle name, when I was born. It was supposed to be Marie, she spelled it Marice, sometimes people tease me because that's a boys name.

I was the only girl in grades 6-9 that played the saxophone

I got a ticket for speeding at 16, it was a week after I got my license

I was listed in Who's Who Among American High School students from grades 9-12

In 10th grade, there were four Courtneys at my high school, one in 9th, 10th (me), 11th, and 12th grade. We all spelled our name differently

I've never been in a serious relationship

I love watching home improvement shows

I played the piano for years then quit once I started college, but I'm thinking about taking lessons again

I have a neice who's 16

When I started college I wanted to become a veterinarian - since I was 8 I thought that's what I wanted to do

I love "Gone with the Wind"

My love for reading started in the 1st grade, when a teacher told me if I improved my reading skills I could be in her advanced group
