I'm not a smoker and never have been. However, I grew up with both a grandmother and a mother who smoked like chimneys! As a result, I suppose, being around secondhand smoke doesn't phase me. I could sit down to meal and have someone light up a few feet behind me and while the other people sitting at my table will be gagging, I don't even notice!
Oh, and while I'm not particularly "pro-smoking", I used to do public relations for Philip Morris, so I guess smoking paid my bills in a roundabout way!
