Grew up in Arkansas, went to college in Mississippi, now live in NC.
All of these ladies are right. Light make-up, capris are very big here now. Spaghetti strap tops can keep you from melting. Most of the high school and college-age girls I see have scrunchies on hand to put up their hair when it gets too hot to wear it down. At my college, we wore shorts and T-shirts to class. We would have melted gettig across campus to class if we had put on anything dressier, like khakis or polo shirts. Those cute little sundresses are big here, too. Whatever you wear- think cool.
