To add on to Leslie's post:
- Alpha Gamma Delta is the first NPC organization to colonize and establish a chapter in the state of Hawaii (my chapter!).
- AGD is the first women's fraternity to set a minimum GPA requirement that all chapters must attain.
- AGD has the largest presence in Canada with SEVEN active chapters.
- the non-Caucasian member Leslie spoke about, Diana Lam, was initiated in the U of British Columbia chapter in 1953. Sigma Kappa initiated Barbara Delaney, an African-American, in 1957.
If I find out more things I'll be sure to let you know!
