Even if the chapter members don't really do those things (drink to excess/ act promiscuous), singing about it will create the assumption that those are things that are expected by PMNs. Is that what you want people thinking about you?

I know every chapter has their "basement songs" (meaning you sing them in private). If you choose to share them, *please* do it via PM, not on a public board.

If people do want new songs, the entire songbook is on the website (pdf format) for download-- sheet music and words for traditional songs. Newer parodies are just the words.
I have deleted the post in mention. This is what we call a "Da** Song" and is not appropriate in any public manner. They can be fun to sing in jest but ONLY in private and between sisters. Let us remember that we are always representing our sorority, even if it is on the internet.

I'm sure the post was made in a light-hearted manner, so please take this as a learning opportunity.
