It's just as easy to take the baby into bed with you and nurse on demand through the night. I learned a lot about cosleeping in both anthropology and psychology classes. It is so interesting what "western" countries do in comparison to much of the world. If I ever marry and have kids I will more than likely do the cosleeping, and I plan to breastfeed. It is natural and FREE!

My mother worked hard to get me to breast feed but as an infant I'd reject her. I liked breast milk, just not straight from the source. She used to have to fake me out with a nipple from a bottle. My refusal to nurse directly has been given as a reason for the strained relationship we've always had, or so some people think
