I have an uncle (mom's side) who is like the opposite of me. He's conservative, racist, sexist, homophobic, thinks Wal-Mart is cool and is moving to Arkansas because it's so great. At family gatherings, we often get into debates that result in him turning a deep shade of pink and yelling. However, i can't say that I can't stand him -- I mean, I disagree with him on pretty much everything but I really find him sort of harmless because he's a lot of talk. Time spent with him always results in great amusement for me.
