We went to our first one two years ago, shortly after I got him. It was so much fun! Welsh Terriers are a pretty rare breed so it was a treat to see so many Welshies in one place (there were 16 Welshies, plus one Sheltie and one schnauzer at the party. People came from all over the country, plus Canada and Mexico. Of course some of the people who live farther away were unable to bring their dogs but they enjoyed meeting everyone else's!) Last year it was out of state so we were unable to go but it is back in the Chicago area this year.
The pug party was okay. It was cute to see like 50 pugs running around. My boyfriend predicted mine would be the craziest though and we would be running around after him to keep him out of "trouble". How right he was!!!! Darby was the ONLY puppy there (he's still only 6 months and DOES NOT listen). He was fine for most of the time and then he ran away and jumped on a pug that was lying down with one of those metal things on wheels because it had something wrong with it's hips and he kept running into people's pictures. At that point, I said "we better get out of here" so we left.............
