Former Georgia Sen. Max Cleland.

Former Sen and Vietnam vet Max Cleland traveled down to Texas to personally hand deliver a note to Bush asking him to denounce the Swift boat ads. In other words Max Cleland challenged him and what did Bush do... the same thing he did while in the reserves he failed to show up....well so much for him being a strong leader.
