That just sounds so... wrong.
I suicided, too, and it worked out better than fine. Sometimes the way rush plays out... you end up with final choices at which you only feel comfortable with one.
You might cut/get cutted early on from groups that would be a good fit, but didn't seem like it at the time. Then as rush goes on, you realize that the other places aren't as good a fit as they seemed in the beginning.
