I've heard my share of ridiculous statements too. Sadly, I myself said one not too long ago. I was talking with my boyfriend & was goofing around making animal noises when I asked him,"Wanna hear the sound a moo makes?" He just looked at me & started to laugh. I couldn't understand why until I realized what I had just asked him. Now he teases me a lot over that stupid comment.
Another one of my brilliant moments of stupidity. I was taking a Bio final when a bonus question asked what is the only mammal that lays eggs. I completely blanked even though I knew the answer b/c I had studies the section. When the professor announced that we had 10 seconds left to write the answer, I brilliantly wrote down, "CHICKEN". I was mortified & of course, the moment the paper left my hand, I wanted to cry b/c I knew it was a platypus.
Genius huh?
